We wish a warm welcome to participants from all over Canada to the University of New Brunswick for a week of technical and professional skills development. Centered on the concept of defense-in-depth in nuclear, sessions span nuclear plant chemistry and corrosion, additive manufacturing, nuclear fuel, spent fuel storage, and cyber security.
This Symposium is the flagship, annual event for the NSERC CREATE, Canada’s Life cycle for Existing and Advanced Nuclear (CLEAN) student training program. CLEAN 2026 includes seminars, hands-on skills building, tours of state-of-the-art facilities, and professional skills training in technical writing, leadership, nuclear safety culture, and more.
